A replica of TV's Southfork Ranch from oil soap Dallas has been turned into a holiday camp after being confiscated by a Romanian mafia don.
Crime kingpin IIie Alexandru spent millions recreating the scene of his favourite TV programme and used to stride around the estate in cowboy boots with a JR-style 10 gallon hat and six-guns.
But he lost the lot after a shoot-out with police and in 2001 was jailed for 12 years for fraud.
Now the property - sold to pay off debts - has been converted into a luxury hotel for fans of the series.
"I grew up with the images of this wonderful world and I saw myself as Bobby Ewing, but like me he always lost out. I guess the Bobby inside me finished me off," said Alexandru.
