Discount airline Wizz Air announced today (Weds) that the number of passengers to and from Romania increased by 33 per cent in the first quarter of this year.
Wizz Air said 582,000 passengers used their services during this period, to and from Romania.
In the last 12 months, 1.76 million passengers had used their services on Romanian routes, the company added.
Wizz Air had 8.4 million passengers worldwide in the last year, which is 33 per cent more than a year before.
Wizz Air has 30 Airbus A320 aircrafts that operate from 12 airports in Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine and the Czech Republic.
