Night at the museum, on Saturday

Romanian museums are offering free access on Saturday, as part of their Museum Night concept.

Eleven museums in Bucharest are celebrating the event, by offering free access on the Saturday to Sunday night.

The museums in Bucharest open for visitors Saturday night are: The National Museum of Arts, The National Museum of Contemporary Arts (MNAC), The National Geology Museum, The Museum "George Enescu", The National History Museum, The National Literature Museum, The Romanian Peasant' Museum, The Village's Museum, The National Military Museum, The Bucharest Museum and the Cotroceni Museum.

The Village's Museum will be open for visitors during the day on Saturday, but not during the night, it said.

A theatre production from the "Masca Theater" is going to be performed at the The National Museum of Contemporary Arts (MNAC), starting 21:30, the museum will be open for public from 21:00 to 03:00, while a party will be organised on its terrace, until 05:00 am.
