EU funds to develop tourism in rural areas

The EU is to give 48.2 million Euros (198 million lei) to Romania for rural tourism projects, Romania’s Agency for Rural Development and Fishing (APDRP) said today (Mon).

The 269 tourism investment projects will receive funding via the National Rural Development Plan.

A total of 329 projects were submitted for the "Encouragement of tourism activity"..

The fund will be used to develop touristic activity in rural areas, by small firms or individuals.
