Ticket discounts of 20 per cent will be in effect for new special trains for the winter season starting today (Mon), national railway company CFR Calatori has announced.
The discounts are available for tickets bought for journeys from Monday to Thursday until 28 February.
Additional trains to tourist resorts like Valea Prahovei, Vatra Dornei and Piatra Neamt have been introduced.
Special prices for tickets to destinations in Hungary and Austria have also been announced. A ticket from Bucharest to Budapest costs 29 Euros in second class and 39 Euros in a sleeping car.
