Sorana Cirstea goes to 3rd round at Australian Open

Romanian tennis player Sorana Cirstea qualified for the first time in her career into the 3rd round in the Australian Open competition.

Sorana Cirstea, who is 59 WTA, defeated Polish Urszula Radwanska (99th WTA), by 1-6, 6-2, 6-3.

She will meet next Italian Sara Errani, 48th WTA.

Romanian tennis player Cirstea achieved a sensational victory against US Open winner, Samantha Stosur, in the first round at the Australian Open.

Cîrstea received 100 WTA points and 54,625 Australian dollars for her victory.
