Romania sends team to the Innsbruck Youth Olympic Games

Romania sends a team of 22 sportsmen and women to the Innsbruck Youth Olympic Games, it was announced today (Tues).

The Youth Olympic Games, take place from 13 to 22 January in Innsbruck, Tyrol region, will host over 1,059 competitors from 60 countries.

Romania's team is leaving today (Tues) for Austria. The youngsters are aged between 14 to 18, for nine out of the 15 disciplines at the Youth Olympic Games.

Romania will compete in the following disciplines: Alpine skiing, ski jumping, speed skating, biathlon, ice hockey, skeleton, bobsleigh, luge and cross country skiing.
