Money raised in charitable stars match

Over 134,000 Euros have been raised in an all-stars charitable football match in Bucharest.

The match brought together football legend Gheorghe Hagi, Gheorghe Popescu and former boxer champ Mihai Leu, next to local tv and music stars.

The money raised wiil be used for the building of a new sector at the Children's Hospital "Marie Curie" in Bucharest.

Over 25,000 people sent a charitable text message, worth 2 Euros, while 4.200 Euros were raised from tickets sales, the rest of the money being direct donations, according to Liana Stanciu, organizer of the event and patron of the foundation "Save your angels!".
