Romania's football champion CFR Cluj will play in Group E in the Champions League, which features strong adversaries Bayern Munchen, AS Roma and FC Basel.

Draws in Monte Carlo on Thursday decided which international teams will travel to Transylvanian town Cluj-Napoca to face the Romanian champion, CFR Cluj, in Champions League play.

CFR Cluj will face German champion Bayern Munchen and Swiss champion FC Basel.

The Romanian team, coached by Italian Andrea Mandorlini, will also meet AS Roma.
