Head coach of the national football team Razvan Lucescu criticised international Adrian Mutu again today (Mon).
Lucescu said in reference to an incident in which Mutu was spotted by a tabloid partying till 3am in a bar before a match with Serbia: "Is it my duty to educate Mutu when he is 30-years-old? I am not Mutu's first coach at the national team.
"I deal with players who must know they are examples for everyone. I proceed from the assumption that everyone has something good inside and I have to bring it to the surface. If anyone turns his back on that, that’s his business."
The Romanian national squad was called up today in Bucharest for a friendly with Poland scheduled for this Saturday. Mutu is out due to recent knee surgery.
Last month, shamed former Chelsea star Mutu was dropped from the national side for good after Lucescu vowed never to pick him again.
