Four defeats for Romanian teams in Europa League play

All four Romanian teams in the Europa Lague were defeated yesterday (Thurs) evening and won’t advance to the next round of competition.

Dinamo Bucharest lost by a score of 0-3 (0-2) to Turkish Galatasaray Istanbul. Dinamo is third in group F with three points, while Galatasaray Istanbul leads it with 10 points.

FC Timişoara lost by a score of 3-1 (1-0) to Belgian team Anderlecht Brussels in that city.
Parks scored in the 51st minute for Timisoara. It ranks third in Group A with 2 points, and Ajax Amsterdam is the leader with 8 points in four matches.

Steaua Bucharest lost by a score of 1-3 (1-1) to Fenerbahce Istanbul. Kapetanos scored for Steaua in the 38th minute. Steaua is last in its group with only 2 points in four matches, while Fenerbahce Istanbul leads it with 9 points.

Former champion CFR Cluj was defeated at home by Sparta Prague by a score of 3-2 (2-1) in Group K. Traore scored in the 25th minute and Dubarbier in the 90th minute for CFR Cluj.   It is last in its group with 3 points, while PSV Eindhoven leads it with 8 points.
