Steaua Bucharest is the highest-ranked Romanian team in the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) monthly rankings issued today (Mon).
Champion Unirea Urziceni had the most impressive increase in the rankings, moving up 95 places.
Eight Romanian teams are in the rankings, with Steaua ranked 60th, with 146.5 points, up one place.
Unirea Urziceni is up 95 places to 166th.
Former champions CFR Cluj is down seven places at 74th, with 133 points.
FC Timisoara is up 10 positions to 97th, with 121.5 points.
FC Vaslui is 108th, up 35 positions with 114 points.
Dinamo is up 11 places to 141st, with 103,5 points.
Rapid is down 13 places at 330th, and FC Brasov is 333rd, up 33 places.
Manchester United is still in first place in IFFHS’ rankings with 326 points.
