Raluca Olaru qualifies for quarter-finals at Linz

Romanian tennis player Raluca Olaru qualified yesterday (Thurs) for the quarters-finals of the Generali Ladies tournament in Linz, Austria.

Olaru defeated German Julia Gorges by a score of by 3-6, 6-2, 7-5.

The Romanian player will meet the winner of the match between Italian Flavia Penetta and German Anna-Lena Groenefeld in the quarter-finals.

Olaru will receive 70 WTA points and 5,340 dollars for reaching the quarter-finals of the tournament, which has 220,000 dollars in prize money.
