Romanian’s national football team defeated Hungary by a score of 1-0 in a friendly match yesterday (Weds) evening in Budapest.
Tiberiu Ghioane, currently playing for Dinamo Kiev, scored the winning goal in the 42nd minute.
The match was dedicated to the memory of Romanian handball player Marian Cozma, 26, who was stabbed to death on 8 February at the Patriota club in Veszprem, Hungary.
His father Petre Cozma attended the game, and the players entered the field dressed in white T-shirts with the slogan "Stop Violence!"
