A day after the Queen's jubilee, Charles flew to Romania, where he is visiting several of his properties in Transylvania, local press informs today (Thurs).
The Prince of Wales arrived yesterday afternoon on Transilvania Airport in Targu Mures by a charter flight.
According to local sources, Charles went this morning to Saschiz, a village in Mures County and will visit several other localities in Covasna and Brasov, where he has several properties and a guest house. During his private visit to Romania, Charles intends to take long walks in the woods and visit rural areas in Transylvania, the sources said.
The Prince of Wales is expected to visit his home in Viscri, Brasov County, currently undergoing refurbishing works.
Charles spent his first night in Romania at Miclosoara, a guest house owned by Count Kalnoky Tibor.
