Ex Prime Minister (PM) Emil Boc who resigned in December over massive anti-austerity and pro-democracy protests has become a horror film character, local press informs today (Thurs).
Boc is the main character of the very short film ‘Resident Emil", a parody of Hollywood's blockbuster "Resident Evil". The film was directed by journalist Vasile Hotea-Fernezan from Cluj Napoca (West), the home city of Boc where he is also running for mayor in June 10 municipal elections.
Anticipating Boc’s candidacy for Mayor, the journalist said that his film, a political joke, becomes prophetic.
The film will be premieres tomorrow night at the Very Short Film Festival, organized by the French Cultural Institute.
Emil Boc has run five different governments from 2009 to December 2011, imposing the most dramatic austerity measures under an IMF, European Commission and World Bank stand by agreement, seeking to curb the public deficit.
