Users of Android phones and Orange telecom network can access 17 TV channels on their mobile phones, starting today (Thurs).
The TV application can be downloaded for free from Android Market or Orange.
The 17 TV channels can be viewed live or clients can access many recorded TV shows. The application can be used through a 3G connection or Wi-Fi, Orange said.
iPhone users can also access the application, named TV live from Orange.
Orange is the largest mobile phone services company operating in Romania, next to Vodafone.
At the end of September, Orange Romania, owned by France Telecom, had 10,184,000 clients and 4.3 million clients for the mobile broadband segment, which is 43 per cent more than in the previous quarter.
