Romanian couple in semifinal for dream job: testing honeymoon places

Two Romanians have made it through to the semi-finals of an Irish contest looking for people to test honeymoon locations.

The Romanian couple - Tudor and Madalina - are among 50 candidates short-listed for what the competition runners have called "The best job in Ireland."

The winner of the runawaybrideandgroom.com competition will get to test luxury exclusive honeymoon locations for six months.

Tudor and Madalina were picked after judges watched the video they had submitted in which they told of their passion for Ireland.

Tudor said: "To be honest, there is no place in Ireland where I would not want to go. Each place has its own magic and attraction. No doubt I would love to see for real the impressive coast line that I’ve only seen in photos and also the gorgeous castles and beautiful cities and of course those lovely cottages. But I am most interested in the mountains."

Only ten candidates will make it through to the final and the winner will be chosen by the judging panel.
