Readers say Romania´s Eurovision song doesn´t have a chance

Romanian Times

Romanian Times readers believe that Romania's song for the Eurovision contest this year has "No chance", according to an online poll.

In it, 76.5 per cent of respondents answered "No chance" to the question "What chance does Romania's song at the Eurovision contest have?".

One in ten respondents - 9.5 per cent - said the song might finish in the top ten, while 4.8 per cent said it might be among the first three, like Romania's previous success by Luminita Anghel in 2005, when her song finished in third place.

Only 9.5 per cent said they didn't know.

Romanian artists Paula Seling and Ovi (Ovidiu Cernauteanu) have been chosen to represent Romania at the Eurovision song contest in May in Oslo.

The song "Playing with Fire" received the maximum number of votes from the jury and 23,412 telephone votes last Saturday evening.
