Depeche Mode-inspired dance show in Bucharest

A dance show inspired by the lyrics and music of British rock band Depeche Mode is premiering today (Fri) at the Odeon Theatre in Bucharest.

The dance show "Depeche/Dance", by choreographer Massimo Gerardi and visual artist Anton Corbijn, stars Romanian dancer Razvan Mazilu. Laura Andrei, Bianca Patrichi, Judith State, Vanda Ştefănescu, Cristian Chiş and Mircea Ghinea are also in the show.

Corbjin is famous for being the creative director of the visual output of bands like Depeche Mode and U2 and the director of the movie "Control".

The show was inspired by the album "Music for the Masses" released by Depeche Mode in 1987.

There will also be a performance tomorrow (Sat), but other future dates have not yet been announced.
