Firm building Madonna´s stage fined for security reasons

One of the firms that has been building the stage for Madonna's concert in Bucharest tomorrow (Weds) was fined today by labour inspectors.

The firm was fined 1,900 Euros or 8.000 lei after labour inspector found out workers hadn't been instructed to take proper security measures.

The official organiser of the concert was fined 6,000 lei for the same reason.

Two workers died and eight were injured last month in Marseille after the roof of the stage where Madonna was about to perform collapsed.

Around 70,000 spectators are expected at Madonna's concert tomorrow at Parcul Izvor in Bucharest.
