A student who is on the verge of repeating the school year claims she had a year long relationship with her religion professor, Cancan newspaper reports today (Weds).
The 17 year-old D.D from "George Enescu" High school in Bucharest is accusing the teachers and the headmaster for trying to cover up the whole story and to punish her.
The student claims the reason why Cristina Sebastian, the headmaster wants her to repeat the school year is because of the love affair she had with teacher Florin Grigore, who recently was transferred to another high school. The administration of the high-school refused so far to say why the teacher was suddenly transferred, just before the end of the school year.
"All the headmaster's friends are giving me bad grades. (...) I am constantly threatened with repeating the school year and the teachers are telling me that it would be better to leave for another school", the student says.
The 17 year-old claims that the teacher started the relationship, and that he was very insistent also during the classes.
"He was very pushy, he used to touch my hair and my hand during the classes. One day he asked for my phone number. On 24 February last year he asked me out and we met, we drove with his car and then he stopped in front of his block of flats. He started to kiss me and I pushed him back, saying I am a virgin, I was about to turn 16. I couldn't get out of there and finally I gave up and we went inside his apartment where everything happened".
The student says the relationship with the teacher lasted a year because he was very insistent and blackmailed her with telling her parents about the relationship.
When the student refused to go on with the relationship, the teacher allegedly showed pictures with them to the headmaster. "They threatened me with the exclusion and they transferred the teacher to another high school", the girl says.
Teacher Florin Grigore denies the relationship, saying that he doesn't want to comment more. As for the headmaster, she is claiming she cannot recall when and why the religion teacher was transferred.
