Father tried for abusing four-year-old girl

A Romanian father was sent to trial for abusing his stepdaughter, aged only 4, prosecutors said today (Weds).

Sorin Solomon, 25, from a village in Suceava county, northern Romania, is accused of having abused his four-year-old stepdaughter.

Prosecutors accuse him of rape, after medical tests showed he abused the little girl last month, when her mother was away to beg in the streets.

The man has been under preventive arrest since January.
