Boeing aircraft on sale by the tax administration

Romanian Times

A Boeing aircrfat is up for auction at the local tax administration in Bacau, northern Romania, for as low as 20,000 Euros.

The Boeing 737-200, made in 1985, with a capacity of 132 seats and 63,000 flight hours, is for sale for 20,000 Euros (84,320 RON), after its owner abandoned it.

The owner of the aircraft was Nigerian air company TranSky Airlines, which sent it to Bacau for repairs back in 2007.

The owner of the plane abandoned it because the company no longer has the money to pay for the repairs. The Bacau engineering company decided to put the plane up for auction.

The aircraft does not have the certification to fly at the current moment.
