Traffickers with 5.5 kilos of cocaine in their stomachs, arrested

Four Romanians with 5.5 kilograms of cocaine ingested in capsules, worth 550,000 Euros, were arrested at airports in Spain and Germany, in a Romanian prosecutors' case to dismantle a Brazil - Europe drugs trafficking gang.

Four suspects were caught at airports in Spain and Germany last month with cocaine worth 550,000 Euros, Romanian prosecutors of the anti-organised crime department (DIICOT) said today (Thurs).

Prosecutors in Brasov, central Romanian, are investigating 11 Romanian traffickers, aged 24 to 29, who used to bring cocaine from Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) inside capsules, which they used to ingest.
