British paedo´s previous victims speak up

Previous victims of James Connor, who was arrested on child-sex charges in Romania last week, are coming forward to expose his past, the Daily Record has reported.

The British trucker was found with nine-year-old and 14-year-old boys in his cab, judges in Vaslui, Romania have been told.

The driver - named locally by police as James Connor, 33 - has been detained in custody by court officials while police fully investigate the allegations.

The Daily Record has reported that Connor has been accused by the mother of two of his previous victims of having abused her 11-year-old son and 14-year-old daughter in 2003 while living in their Bristol home.

The mother has been quoted as saying: "There must be an investigation of why Connor was allowed to continue abusing kids even though the authorities knew he was dangerous. I can't believe he has gotten away with abusing so many children over such a long time."

The girl, who was a victim in 2003, has visited police in Bristol and offered to give evidence against him, the Daily Record has reported.

In Romania last week, he was arrested with a nine-year-old boy and a 14-year-old lad in his cab after the younger boy's family had reported him missing.

Police say a search of the truck discovered a laptop computer with hundreds of images and videos of children being abused.

Prosecutors – claim the local media – have said that he picked up unsupervised children for sex sessions and that he will face charges of possessing child pornography and corrupting minors.

Conner is said to have lured the youngsters into his cab with sweets, toys and a Euro coin before abusing them. Police say they have discovered 10 victims so far.

Prosecutors will have a month to bring the case to court or let Conner walk free.

Earlier this year, British pervert Paul Richard Dorday, 42, was jailed for three-and-a-half years by Romanian judges after they heard that he had abused more than 50 youngsters.
