Crew rescued from sinking ship

Romanian Times

A Turkish ship loaded with scrap iron has sunk in the Black Sea near the Romanian coast at Tuzla, it was reported today (Weds).

All 17 members of the crew were saved with the help of the Romanian authorities.

The ship called Medy, which left Constanta harbor loaded with scrap iron, sunk last night (Tues to Weds) after the crew sent an SOS message, at 4.45 am, as the ship started to lean.

Investigations are underway to figure out the cause of the incident.
