Romania admits Israeli planes entered its air space

Romanian Times

Two military Israeli aircraft had entered Romanian air space on Wednesday after receiving permission to do so, the Romanian Defence Ministry said today (Fri).

The two Gulfstream planes were on a training flight, the ministry said.

Two Israeli aircraft passed through Romanian and Hungarian air space recently on a mission that could be connected to the murder of a Syrian businessman, the Hungarian press reported as quoted by Ynetnews.com.

The Bulgarian media said that the Israeli Embassy in Budapest had denied reports the two Israeli aircraft detected in Hungarian air space after having passed through Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania had been spy planes.

Bulgarian news agency Novinite said the murder had occurred on Wednesday, when Budapest police said a 52-year-old Syrian was gunned down after stopping his luxury car at a traffic light in the eastern part of the Hungarian capital.
