Highs of up to 22 degrees over the weekend

High temperatures of up to 22 degrees Celsius will occur this week-end after an endless winter of heavy snowfalls and blizzards, meteorologists said today (Fri).

A sunny Saturday is expected in the south and southeast, with high temperatures ranging from 15 degrees to 18 degreees. In Bucharest, the temperature is expected to be 18 degrees at noon tomorrow.

The west may experience a few scattered showers.

On Sunday, high temperatures of up to 20 degrees are expected countrywide, with even 22 degrees the top in southern towns like Galati, Buzau and Turnu Severin. Minimum temperatures will be 13 or 14 degrees.
