MP accused of having patronised prostitutes

The name of a Democrat Liberal MP appears in an organised-crime file about a woman who forced several young women to prostitute themselves, according to Agerpres.

MP Petru Calian from Cluj-Napoca is accused in declarations by the young women quoted in the file of having had sexual relations with them for money.

Democrat Liberal Adrian Gurzau, Liberal county counsellor Mihai Szeplecan, Cluj post office manager Ovidiu Calin and former local counsellor Mircea Petric are also mentioned in the file.

Organised crime prosecutors (DIICOT) have preferred charges against Natalia Strechi, who has been accused of people-trafficking and pimping, according to Agerpres.
