Romania will receive 4.3 billion Euros in EU funding this year, Prime Minister Emil Boc said today (Weds).
Boc added that the money would help economy get out of recession.
Boc said Romanian businesses should use as much EU funding as possible, especially for projects for entry into the international market.
The country is expected to register 1.3 per cent economic growth this year and could come out of recession with the help of the EU funding.
Boc listed the measures taken by the government so far to support companies, including maintaining the flat tax at 16 per cent, extending furloughs and granting aid to firms that hired more people.
