Jewels discovered hidden in cheese in Romanian car in Bulgaria

Bulgarian police discovered over three kilos of gold jewellery hidden in cheese in a car with Romanian license plates in Malko Tarnovo close to the Turkish border.

The Romanian car was stopped because it was suspected of being used to import milk and meat products illegally into the European Union, according to Novinite.

The jewels, worth 50,000 Euros, were discovered hidden in cheese in the car.
