Bosh posted a 17 percent increase in sales in Romania in 2011, Brigitte Eble the manager of the Romanian subsidiary of the German group informed today (Fri).
"Because of a 17 percent increase in sales, that reached some 188 million Euros, we succeeded to go beyond our initial target for 2011, thus contributing the general development of the group globally", Eble said.
The representative of the German group said the company will significantly extend its presence in Romania next year and will further invest some 120 million Euros.
"Our plant in Blaj (West) will be extended with two new production lines. The aid received from the government had a crucial role in the process of choosing Romania for setting up here two new factories", Eble said.
Bosh strengthened its market position in Romania, mainly in the electric tools and machinery segment.
