CEO launches book on history of Pepsi brand in Romania

A book on the beginning and the success of the Pepsi brand in Romania after the revolution of 1989 was launched today (Thurs) in Bucharest by the president of the company that brought the American brand to Romania.

The book, "An Unimaginable Journey" by Aviad Meitar, tells the story of the development of the brand in Romania during the last 20 years.

Meitar set up the Pepsi business in Romania in 1991 on behalf of a US-based investment group and oversaw it from its inception to its ultimate sale to PepsiCo's second-largest bottler worldwide, according to his website.

Meitar is the president of the Pepsi franchise in Bulgaria.
