Fuelish Trucker

Kathryn Quinn

This dozy trucker felt like a right fuel after wedging his lorry under a petrol station roof in Lucerne, Switzerland.

The 39-year-old driver told police he'd had to swerve to avoid a speeding car coming in the opposite direction on the wrong side of the road.

"I knew the roof was too low but I really had no choice," he told officers.

Police say they're examining footage from CCTV cameras on the road to track down the car.

Emergency services eventually managed to free the lorry from the roof by letting down the tyres on both sides and driving it back onto the road.
