Bridal Shower

Kathryn Quinn

Most brides dream of a glorious sunny wedding day but these romantic love-birds had been hoping for the opposite with a shower of rain to help them create the perfect wedding snaps.

Film buffs Jun Chien, 34, and his bride Zhen Tao, 28, who are both fans of the Technicolour classic singing in the rain, decided they wanted their own pictures in the rain.

But when the weather failed to oblige for the snaps at Jiaxing, in east China’s Zhejiang province, the wedding photographer sent his assistant on top of the wall armed with bottles of mineral water to solve the problem.

As mineral water rain poured down on the couple under their brolley they ended up with the perfect wedding photos to make their day complete.

Jun Chien said: "It was a very short lived shower but a very special one. Afterwards we had sunshine and perfect weather for the rest of the guests so everybody was happy."
