Hand Signals

Kathryn Quinn

Frustrated traffic police appealed to the public to finger this serial speeding motorcyclist - who makes his view of speed cameras plain with a very clear hand signal.

The biker - wanted for triggering 26 cameras around Munich, Germany - was finally caught when police set a trap for him around one of his favourite speeding sites in an underpass.

"His face couldn't be seen behind his helmet and his number plate was always hidden. Every time he went through a camera, he gave us the finger.

"We asked for help and eventually we caught him by working out a pattern in the routes he took," said a police spokesman.

Biker Dimitri Salovic, 17, is now facing a lengthy ban and a 5,000 GBP fine on a series of speeding charges and riding without a licence.
