Police arrested drink driver Hannah Baum, 51, after they found her car parked just a few metres from the spot where she claimed it had recently been stolen - with her 12-year-old son sitting inside. The woman who was almost four times over the legal limit for drink-driving had left her son inside the car in Tulln, Austria, despite the current heatwave which left temperatures inside the car at 50 degrees centigrade. She then forgot where she had parked it and walked into the police station nearby to report the vehicle stolen. The boy who was badly dehydrated told police his mother had told him to wait there while she went shopping. Social services are investigating.
