It's never going to make it into any travel guide but the bizarre Performance Hotel is offering guests a free room for the night if they show their art is in the right place.

The hotel - a gigantic art installation in Stuttgart, Germany - says guests who perform a work of art can stay free for the night.

Customers can go anything from preparing a gourmet meal to making a movie about their stay there, said manager Byung Chul Kim.

"It is a place where everyone can become part of the art," he said.
