A lake of 14 million litres of manure were spilled when a tank exploded after a technical defect in Grosskayna, Germany. The substance covered around three square kilometres, an area of 400 football pitches. Forty-eight firemen were called to the scene. Investigators are currently trying to find out the exact reason for the incident.
