Chain gang

Kathryn Quinn

A 75-year-old great grandmother is facing three years in jail after being caught drink driving on her bicycle.

Krystyna Patycka from Kopacz, Poland, was stopped when police spotted her weaving from one side of the road to the other on her way to the shops.

Officers immediately banned her from the road and now Krystyna has to face formal drink drive charges in court after ignoring a series of private cautions.

"All I had was one bottle of beer but I have been told I could go to prison for three years," she said.
