Miracle pill makes women faithful and sexier

Kathryn Quinn

A doctor claims to have created a miracle hormone pill that gives women more powerful orgasms - and makes them more faithful.

Sex expert Dr Thierry Hertoghe from Belgium says he has conducted trials of the pill - using extracts of the so-called happiness hormone oxytocin - on his own wife.

"She is even happier with our love life now and to me the world has just become a better and warmer place," he explained.

Oxytocin is a hormone usually produced by women in childbirth or during breast feeding.

But Dr Hertoghe, chief physician at a hospital in Bern, Switzerland, explained: "Studies also show that oxytocin strengthens social bonds and enhances communication between couples."

"It might also play a role in conflict resolution. It is not impossible that it causes more intense orgasms. Its mild lust enhancing effect has been proven for both women and men, but more studies are necessary," added the doc who has just published his research as 'Passion, Sex and Long Life - the Incredible Oxytocin Adventure.'
