Perfect murder

A student who planned and executed the perfect murder was only caught when he confessed to the killing to his horrified girlfriend, a court heard.

Twisted Mario Zell, 28, spent months working out how to kill and dismember a homeless man in Berlin, Germany, stashing parts of his butchered body all over the city.

State prosecutors told the court he would still be free if he hadn't bragged about the murder to his girlfriend who immediately told police. The case continues.
