A crook with a 100,000 GBP price on
his head was caught after he placed a lonely hearts ad in a
newspaper.
Thomas Wolf - who'd escaped from jail three times and was
wanted for a 2 million GBP kidnap - put a classified in the personal column in
the local paper near his hideout in Hamburg, Germany.
Wolf, 56, described
himself as "cultivated but seldom boring" and "financially independent" in the
'Marriage Wanted' column.
But he was snared after suspicious Eva Schiller
called police after just two dates with the fugitive, reports Bild
newspaper.
After telling her he wanted a relationship he asked her if she
would launder large amounts of cash for him which he claimed he'd secured in a
business deal.
