Vienna Boys Choir member makes sex abuse claim

The world-famous Vienna Boys' Choir has been hit by claims of sexual and physical abuse.

Boys were forced to shower naked in front of teachers, groped while on bus tours and force-fed, according to a German doctor and former member of the choir.

The doctor, now 33 and living in Berlin, also claims he was forced to perform oral sex by an older student.

The Vienna Boys' Choir has made no comment on the claims, other than to say they will check who was in charge of the boys between 1985 and 1987, when the offences are claimed to have taken place.
