Sheik Rattled And Rolled

A wealthy Arab oil sheik will have to make do with his 150,000 GBP Bentley Continental GT after he wrote off his new 200,000 GBP Aston Martin coupe while taking a drive in between meetings of oil regulator OPEC in the Austrian capital Vienna.

The multimillionaire from Kuwait, 37, had taken the new car out for a spin when he veered off the road as he tried to overtake a cyclist just as another car came round the corner in the other direction.

The car rolled over and burst into flames seconds after it came to stop and the Arab millionaire scrambled free. He could only watch as the flames can completely destroyed the car and set fire to the surrounding land.

It took 55 fireman two hours to bring the blaze under control by which time even the aluminium body of the car had burnt to ash only the four wheel hubs and the engine block were remaining in among the debris.

A police spokesman said: "He lives in the first district in Vienna on the Graben (Asurtia's Park Lane) and wanted to take a spin out into the countryside.

"He has another car in the garage back in his house he said a Bentley Continental GT."
