Trucking heck...Here's one massive insurance headache for the drivers of this transporter in Lishui, Zhejiang province, eastern China, after writing off nearly 500,000 GBP of brand new cars in one smash.
The 16 imported luxury motors - mostly Audis and Volkswagens - had spent two weeks soaking in a lake after the crash because salvagers said weather conditions were too severe to attempt retrieving them.
"They are really only fit for scrap. Any that haven't been crushed are soaked through with pond water and will never be the same again," said one engineer.
One of the truck's drivers Lu Hen explained to police: "We had a minor shunt with a car on the highway and the truck slid straight through the crash barrier and down the slope. We were lucky to get out alive."
